Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves says there are tremendous opportunities for investment here in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
Speaking this morning at a press conference following his return to the state earlier this week after having held meetings with investors in London and Italy, Dr. Gonsalves noted that in recent months there has been a lot of interest in St. Vincent and the Grenadines by investors from Canada and China, among others.
The Prime Minister said the government is currently in early discussions with Canadian investors about the possible cultivation of marijuana in very strict conditions for medical purposes.
According to Prime Minister Gonsalves, investors have expressed interest in investing on the Grenadine Islands of Bequia, Mayreau, Union Island, as well as on main land St. Vincent.
