There could be changes to the CDC when the life of the Board comes to an end. This was first made public by Prime Minister Dr Ralph Gonsalves and at a CDC-organised news conference on Tuesday, minister of culture, Ces Mc Kie, also made similar comments.
Next year marks 40 years since carnival was moved from the pre-Lenten season and Mc Kie said plans are being made to have a grand celebration, stating that he would like to see the launch of Vicny Mas takes place in NY next year.
Mc Kie also stated that the life of the board will soon come to an end and that new faces could be on board.
Many persons over the years have been making calls for changes to be made to the composition of the CDC, with the head, Dennis Ambrose, serving as Chairman for almost 15 years.
