Mothers employed at the Halifax Street branch of CIBC FirstCaribbean International Bank were treated to dinner and entertainment on Mother’s Day this year.
Last Sunday, the ladies attended the fundraising event, which was organized by Stepz 4 Christ, the dance ministry of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Kingstown.
The Stepz for Christ dance ministry has been hosting a number of events over the past eight years to support its evangelism outreach.
A cheque was presented to Marika Young by CIBC FirstCaribbean Business Support Offficer & Employee Engagement Champion/ Corporate Banking Jacintha Hinds.
Hinds indicated that the donation to the dance ministry not only shows the bank’s support for the work that the organization is doing in various communities, but also a way of saying “thank you” to the mothers employed at CIBC FirstCaribbean.
