The third edition of the Courts Fashionista competition will be held on Thursday, August 25.
The competition, which connects fashion and furniture, will see local designers creating and making wearable pieces, inspired by furniture available on the Courts showroom floor.
This year the winner receives $2500, with the first runner-up getting $1000, and second runner-up gets $500, as well as token prizes for all participants.
Courts Assistant Commercial Manager Indra Grant has made the call for fashion enthusiasts to visit the Kingstown store to collect registration forms for the event, which she says has become a highly anticipated event on the Courts calendar since its inception.
“The competition connects Fashion and Furniture have seen the birth of extraordinary talent across the OECS and this success can only be attributed to the hard work and dedication of Courts staff and the participants, who have over the years been instrumental in us putting together such a flawlessly executed event.”
Last year’s winner is Jamal Jacob.
