Police are said to be searching for a man who escaped them when a boat he and a Vincentian were in ran aground in the Rose Place area Wednesday, after being chased by the local Coast Guard.
The man who is being sought is believed to be a Grenadian.
Guns and a cache of bullets were found on the boat and a Vincentian who was deported from Canada some years ago, was arrested in the area of the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital, after trying to flee the police.
A number of killings have taken place over the last few days and reports are that police may have stumbled onto something big.
