Deron Grant, the well-known former tennis player and philanthropist, has coordinated over $9,000 in donations to the Enhams Clinic and the Zero hunger Trust Fund.
Mr. Grant, who is now the Head of Tennis at the largest Sporting and Recreational facility in the Sultanate of Oman, was born at the Enhams Clinic.
His donation includes an air conditioner, a refrigerator, three standing fans and various medical supplies. The value of his donation is over $6,000.
Also, Mr. Grant has secured $4,000 in donations from some of his international colleagues in Oman, to be donated to the Government’s Zero Hunger Trust Fund.
There will be a brief handing-over ceremony to mark Mr. Grant’s generous contribution today at the Enhams Clinic. The ceremony will begin at 11:00a.m.
The handing-over ceremony will be conducted by Mr. Grant’s aunt, Mrs. Deno Ballentyne, and feature brief remarks from area representative Camillo Gonsalves, Nurse Noreen Harry, Rene Baptiste (Mr. Grant’s mentor) and a representative of the Ministry of Health.
