The election petitions brought forward by the Opposition party in St Vincent,regarding the elections of 2015 will now be heard on May 27th.
This decesion was handed down today by Justice Brian Cottle,who lawyers for the Opposition believe should recuse himself from the case due to an earlier statement made as to possible outcome.
Lawyers for the Government are expected to argue that the petitions brought by the Opposition were improperly filed and should therefore be dismissed.
Reports from media in St Vincent noted that lawyers for the Opposition would prefer the case go directly to the court of Appeal.
