The leaders of CIBC FirstCaribbean International Bank said thank you and showed their appreciation to their staff in St Vincent and the Grenadines as they celebrated Employee Appreciation Day on 15th May, 2018.
Staff was treated at the Signature Restaurant and Event Centre for an eventful poolside evening of fun and fine dining. Upon arrival, persons captured the moments at the photo booth with selfie frames that read hashtags #MybossthinksI’mabigdeal and #Iapprci8you.
Employees were also presented with a number of awards, personalised recognition cards from their various leaders locally and regionally, as well as prizes and branded tokens for their hard work and dedication.
“Appreciation shown to our employees for their contributions is a sure way to improve morale, which in turn improves performance and employee engagement.
Employee Appreciation Day allows managers to celebrate and show appreciation to our employees in a fun yet meaningful way. Giving back to those to give of their time and energy everyday makes the recognition more effective and memorable,” said CIBC FirstCaribbean Human Resource Support Officer, Jacintha Hinds.
The bank also took the opportunity to celebrate staff members who are also mothers within the branch, as they too were presented with balloon bouquets and chocolates for Mother’s Day.
