Chartered flights would be available for Persons wishing to come for Carnival 2017.
The information was made public by CEO of the Tourism Authority Glen Beache.
Beache Speaking on the Wake-Up Call on X104.3 FM said that the Private Sector had expressed interest in making these charters available.
The government is also in talks with a number of airlines out of North America including CAL, Sunwing, American Airlines, Jetblue and WestJet, Beache disclosed.
The CEO further stated that due to missed opening dates of the AIA and the fact that these airlines plan their flights a year in advance, regular weekly flights might not be available until later this year.
Beache also revealed that they are working on getting flights out of Europe, with airlines such as British Airways, Virgin Atlantic, Thomas Cook and Air France.
