IMPACT Justice is sponsoring this three-day workshop to reinforce/ supplement the training given to Police Officers in the areas of Evidence, Report Writing, Interviewing and Interrogation Techniques.
The Project has already held similar refresher training workshops in St. Lucia, Grenada and St. Kitts & Nevis.
At the opening ceremony, remarks will be delivered by Mr. Bertie Hinds (facilitator and former Deputy Commissioner of the Royal Barbados Police Force) on behalf of Professor Velma Newton, Regional Project Director of the IMPACT Justice Project.
Assistant Superintendent of Police, Mr. John Ballah, will also deliver remarks on behalf of the Commissioner of Police, Mr. Colin John.
The opening ceremony will take place at the old Montrose police station at 9am Monday 19th March, 2018.
