Prime Minister and Leader of the ULP Dr Ralph Gonsalves have put his party supporters on high alert, for what he describes as “any day now “elections can be called.
Gonsalves noted while speaking at his party 22nd Convention that he is never afraid of elections, and that no one in the ULP committed any fraud in the last general elections of December 2015.
Recently on Local radio Leader of the Opposition Arnhim Eustace told Vincentians, that he expects elections to be held this year.
Gonsalves said he intends to camp out in South Leeward, East Kingstown and North Leeward, should he call the elections any day now, he says the current seats the ULP has cannot be taken away.
Dr Gonsalves stated on Sunday that he has no problem with the petitions currently before the court; he said they were wrongfully filled and is confident in what the Judge said in April about their application being successful.
