The police have launched an investigation into a matter of Criminal Sexual Assault reported on the 4th of January, 2017, at 11.30am.
The mother, a 32y-o domestic of Barrouallie, took the matter to the police on behalf of her 14y-o daughter a student of Layou.
The mother reported that a 21y-o labourer of Layou had sexual intercourse with her daughter, a minor above the age of 13 but below the age of 15.
The acts of Criminal Sexual Assault are said to have taken place at Layou between; 01.09.16 and 30.09.16. (2) Between 01.10.16 and 31.10.16; (3) between 01.11.16 and 30.11.16; (4) between 01.12.16 and 31.12.16.
The reported matter is now under investigation.
