Nine Mornings celebrations will be brighter this year as a local commercial bank is supporting the Top Belair Progressive Organisation’s 2018 events.
This year’s event, Bring Back the Old Time Christmas which builds on the national theme Christmas is We, is scheduled to start on December 15 with the lighting of the community, carolling, traditional cuisine, games and gifts.
Country Head of CIBC FirstCaribbean International Bank Shelly Ann Samuel, said, “Recognizing that many people like to do a little something extra at Christmas, the bank is eager to help our clients and our community to better enjoy the holidays by supporting the Top Belair Progressive Organisation’s endeavour to Bring Back the Old Time Christmas inclusive of the Nine Morning activities, which will be full of tradition and participatory activities in the communities.”
Another benefactor of the bank’s support was the Lions Club of Kingstown SVG, which recently received sponsorship for their Annual Wine and Cheese Soiree fundraising event under the theme Night in Paradise.
Funds raised will go toward assisting the visually impaired community as well as the less fortunate to enjoy a better Christmas season via the Lions Club of Kingstown SVG.
Both recipients Top Belair Progressive Organisation and the Lions Club of Kingstown SVG were thankful for the support and sponsorship.
