Sanjay Mapp a woman in her late twenties originally from Calder, but who lives in Biabou, was rushed to the MCMH for urgent medical attention after sustaining chop wounds on Tuesday night.
According to information received from a well-placed source, her attacker was identified as Nigel Regisford alias World.
It is reported that Mapp received two chop wounds on her right hand which took about 16 stitches, she is still a patient at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital.
News784 understands that Regisford with whom Mapp has a son and daughter is still on the run from police.
Biabou is currently in the spotlight with Monique Clarke who suffered from third-degree burns and subsequently died.
Her boyfriend has been charged with murder. St Vincent has been riddled lately with a number of violent domestic disputes.
