These accomplishments will focus on education, intelligence, leadership, independence, commitment to humanity, and a desire for peace throughout the globe. The founder of the pageant, Pearl Williams, aims to use this pageant to develop as human beings. She sees it as an opportunity for women to develop professionally. The pageant’s focus for its contestants is to enhance the inner and outer beauty of modern women while they gain self-confidence and passion within themselves.
Ms. Williams is calling on the international community to help raise the bar and support the growth of pageantry. The Miss Plus Size Universe International 2023 event will be a time of glamor and intellectual growth for the finalists. They will undergo physical and mental grooming and training to prepare for the various challenges they will face during the pageant. The finalists will also spread awareness through advocacy work and be challenged with high fashion photo shoots, runway shows, and speeches on women empowerment. The pageant will provide a platform for the finalists to showcase their beauty, intelligence, and ambition while promoting education, leadership and peace throughout the globe.
We are inviting the media houses to visit and have a chat with the delegates who are expected to arrive in the St. Vincent and the Grenadines for the 27th October,, 2023. We would like to have the contestants sit in at the parade. Due to the many challenges we have faced with respect to transportation to visit St. Vincent and the Grenadines with the airlines system, some of the sponsorship which we would have expected have not given fruition. We intend to work in the limited capacity that we are placed in but we are very consistent with staging our Annual Show. As everyone is aware, due to the unforeseen
circumstances surrounding the pageant last November, we had to postpone such a memorable show due to the horrid weather conditions.
We advise that people discontinue listening to the negative media releases surrounding the pageant and this has no positive impact towards our show. We continue to advocate for plus size women who have lost their confidence and for society to accept them. We are proud of the many years which we have been advocating for that and we are back with a bang. We have had many challenges with Inter-Caribbean airlines which were the travel sponsors for the contestants and the economic crisis faced within the Caribbean region.
We intend to continue to move ahead with this pageant due to the limited capacity we have. We would like to dispel any negativity towards this pageant and the industry on a whole for Miss St. Vincent and the Grenadines. We would like to congratulate and thank our team for their continued support together with the committees for moving ahead even with the struggles and challenges ahead. We would like to guarantee that the show will be held on October 27th, 2023 at Porters Estate, St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
