Trade Unionist and staunch supporter of the ULP, Noel Jackson, wants Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves to stop making pronouncements as to when the Argyle International Airport will become operational.
Speaking on radio Thursday, Jackson noted that Gonsalves has been trying to please too many persons with his pronouncements as to when the airport will be opened and he wants him to stop it.
He says that the airport will be opened and that should speak for itself since work is ongoing and is nearing completion.
Gonsalves stated earlier this year that by the end of June, construction work would have been completed, and this was after numerous other dates were placed before the public.
