The South Windward Farmers In Action Producers Co-operative Limited (SOWAPCO) will host their Official Launch and Office Opening Ceremony on Tuesday 12th September, 2017 at the Stubbs Community Centre.
The South Windward Farmers In Action Producers Co-operative Limited (SOWAPCO) is one of eight (8) agricultural cooperatives to receive support under the Strengthening Farmers’ Organizations and Improve Fruit and Vegetable Production Technology Project. This project is implemented jointly by the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Transformation, Forestry and Fisheries and the Taiwan Technical Mission and funded by the Republic of China (Taiwan).
The ceremony begins at 1.00 p.m. and brief addresses will be made by:
- Jerry Liao – Chief- Taiwan Technical Mission.
- Frederick Stephenson – Area Representative & Minister of National Mobilization, etc.
- Saboto Caesar – Minister of Agriculture, Rural Transformation, Forestry, and Fisheries.
