Leroy Desmond Hillocks is the latest winner in the St Vincent and the Grenadines Island Numbers Lotto Jackpot.
The Paul’s Avenue resident won the jackpot totalling $110,000 Eastern Caribbean dollars by matching all five numbers.
The winning numbers were 1, 2, 5, 8, 29. Hillocks said his winning ticket was a quick pick
Hillocks, a businessman who collected his winnings of $110,000 on Thursday morning, said he is grateful for the financial blessings.
“Times are hard; this will go a long way; we are behind in our bill payments. Since last year we have turned the tables up, and things have been rocky. However, we stuck it out, and my family and I will put the money to good use”.
Hillocks said he usually plays his birth numbers. However, the winning ticket was a quick pick which he bought and played in four different draws.
Manager of NLA McGregor Sealey encouraged Hillocks to spend his money wisely, urging him to make the winnings count.
Sealey said the Paul’s Avenue resident has been playing the lotto since its inception.
