Residents from Petit Bordel to Richmond, on the north leeward side of mainland St. Vincent will be without a water supply until further notice, due to a landslide that occurred in Petit Bordel.
The Central Water and Sewerage Authority (CWSA) says its team is already on site providing assessments in order to begin restoration works.
The CWSA is appealing to residents of the affected areas to exercise patience as work continues diligently to restore the water supply. It says updates will be provided where necessary.
Meanwhile, the CWSA is reminding the general public that we are now in the rainy season, which can result in damage to the company’s pipelines.
