The police are investigating a motor vehicular accident involving motor vehicle P 782, a black jeep owned and driven by David Charles, a 50year old sailor of Sayers.
The vehicle ran off Hopewell public road and overturned over an embankment about 2:45 am on August 19th, 2016.
Four persons sustained injuries about their bodies. Passenger Kiaro Shortte, a 17year old student of Simon, sustained serious injuries and succumbed to her death, while David Charles sustained injuries to his left foot.
They are patients at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital.
This brings the total to five fatal accidents for the year.
