More than 300 Credit Union leaders and officials from the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) will converge next week in St. Vincent and the Grenadines for the 14th Annual OECS Credit Union Summit.
The summit will be held at the Buccament Bay Resort from September 14 to 18, under the auspices of the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Co-operative Credit Union League.
It will be convened under the theme “Strengthening OECS Credit Union Co-operation, Integration and Innovation”.
President of the SVG Co-operative League, Dwight Lewis, speaking at the summit’s launch on Tuesday said that this year’s focus is on strengthening the credit union movement throughout the OECS.
Mr. Lewis said that among the matters down for discussion are risk management, liquidity management and marketing trends.
