Over 150 regional trade unionists are expected to gather here for the 46th Caribbean Public Services Association Annual Conference to be hosted in St. Vincent and the Grenadines from July 16 – 22.
Committee Member of the St.Vincent and the Grenadines Public Service Union (PSU), Mr. Aubrey Burgin said the Conference will bring together delegates from several countries including St. Martin, Belize, Guyana and host country St.Vincent and the Grenadines.
He said the conference will take place at the Methodist Church Hall under the theme “Building Strong Caribbean Public Service Unions through solidarity and unification,” and will commence this Saturday with a women’s forum, a future leaders’ forum and a men’s caucus.
Mr. Burgin said the activities will continue on Wednesday with a meeting of Standing and Ad hoc committees and culminate on Friday with a VIP Party at the Buccament Bay Resort.
