Schools across St. Vincent and the Grenadines (today) Monday 1st November, resume classes with full face to face learning as well as blended learning formats.
The recommended format for the operations of schools across St. Vincent and the Grenadines is based on the percentage of staff vaccinated and the adherence to the health protocols, a circular from the Ministry of Education said.
20 primary schools and 10 secondary schools will resume full face to face learning, while the rest will employ the blended approach.
Six schools will adopt the proposed formats on November 3rd instead of November 1st; those schools are: Sandy Bay Secondary, Girls High School, Bequia Community High, Owia Government, Biabou Methodist, and Kingstown Government.
It was noted that all staff members entering the school compound are required to demonstrate proof of vaccination or produce a negative COVID-19 test result.
Staff members were also reminded that effective November 19th, 2021 that proof of vaccination is a requirement to enter the school premises, save and except those exempted from vaccination in accordance with Statutory Rules and Orders 2021 No. 28.
