The St Vincent and the Grenadines Hotel and Tourism Association (SVGHTA) expresses its concern regarding the notice served on the Management of the Cobblestone Inn by the National Properties Ltd to cease business operations at its current location effective September 30, 2016.
The Cobblestone Inn is a long standing and a very supportive member of the Association. Mrs. Joshua, a seasoned hotelier, is known to manage with tremendous passion, offering her clients quality products/services which she continuously upgrades.
We in the sector view this notice as unfortunate bearing in mind the dynamic nature of our tourism and hospitality industry.
The SVGHTA will continue to monitor closely this situation in the hope that this matter could be resolved in a manner which benefits all concerned, particularly employees, suppliers, reservation holders, Cobblestone Inn management, the SVG Government and our country’s tourism industry in general.
