Minister of health Luke Browne while making his contribution to the Budget debate told the nation that the country had recorded it’s first case of the Zika virus.
The Minister said that samples for testing was sent to Trinidad which returned positive.He however noted that the individual has fully recovered.
The Minister will hold a press Conference Wednesday to speak about the action plan developed by the Ministry to combat the virus.
