St Vincent will experience more heavy rains overnight and into the early morning hours as a tropical wave approaches the island.
According to the National Hurricane Center, a tropical wave is approaching the Lesser Antilles with an axis extending from 17N56W to 07N56W, moving W at 20 kt Within the last 24 hours.
NHC says the wave is embedded in a light to moderate moist environment from surface to 850 mb as indicated by CIRA LPW imagery.
This wave shows an outflow boundary approaching Barbados. Scattered moderate convection is from 10N-14N between 56W-60W.

Tropical Wave along 55/56 west south of 16 north moving west at 20 kts.

Weak instability associated with a surface to mid-level Trough system with the axis to the west of the island chain, maintained Cloudy skies along with a few Scattered Showers over most of the islands during the night.
Moisture ahead of the axis of ahead of a Tropical Wave approaching the island chain in combination with a low-level Trough system started to move into the local area.
During the day the weak unstable pattern continued with Partly Cloudy to Cloudy skies with a few Showers. Satellite imagery showed the deeper Convection to the southeast of Barbados.
