On Sunday 07th August, 2016, the Office of National Drug and Money Laundering Control Policy (ONDCP) conducted a counter-drug operation on an apartment complex in the Creekside area.
This resulted in the arrest of 27-year-old Junior Forde of Hodges Bay and 33-year-old Curtis Williams, both Vincentian nationals, and a seizure of three packages of hashish oil with a combined weight of 8lbs 6ozs.
A quantity of cannabis was also seized in another apartment within the complex. The Hashish Oil is estimated to have a wholesale value of Thirty-three Thousand, Five Hundred Dollars (ECD$33,500.00).
The men have been charged with Possession of Hashish Oil, Possession with Intent to Supply Hashish Oil and Being Concerned in the Supply of Hashish Oil.
