Vincentian duo Nailah and Andre Prince launched their online store (Kitamba Fabrics) on Friday 9th September 2016.
Kitambaa Fabrics was established on August 1st, 2016 with the vision to supply to the Caribbean region and the rest of the world an African print fabric that brings a taste of Africa to the Caribbean.
Owned by the duo and a business partner, Prince said they aspire to bring exceptional customer service and quality fabrics.
Speaking to News784 Nailah John – Prince “said they hope to establish close relationships with designers and also individuals who want to feel a sense of true African pride by wearing these magnificent African print fabrics.
“It is my duty as a national of St. Vincent and the Grenadines to always remember that it is essential to give back to the community that I and my husband once had the pleasure of growing up in Nailah Prince told News784.
In saying this Kitambaa Fabrics will be donating a percent of the sales during the month of October which is The Domestic Violence Awareness month. We will also be starting our Pre- Christmas sale approximately two months prior to Christmas so that everyone can receive their fabrics or their custom made tailored designs in time.
The establishment of Kitambaa Fabrics would allow for us to bring to you African print fabric that represents the culture, essence and expression of the continent of Africa through the many different colours and patterns the duo told News784.
